About the Author
Janey DeMeo (M.A., Missions) is
a speaker, author, freelance writer, pastor's wife and the
founding director of of Orphans First, a non-profit ministry
to suffering children worldwide: www.orphansfirst.org. She
has worked extensively with children in many countries and
is the mother of two now grown children.
Janey is the author of several books (in
both English and French) and has also contributed to compilation
books for teens, families and women. Her writing has appeared
in many Christian publications including: Discipleship Journal,
Focus-on-the-Family, Brio, Breakaway, Single Parent, Indeed
(Walk-Thru-The-Bible), Charisma, Sports Spectrum, World
Christian, Pulse, Assist News . . . and in European publications
including Donna di Donna (Italian), Concepts (French), l'Avènement
and l'Amandier (Swiss).. . . and a Korean publication. To

As a Bible teacher, Janey taught for twenty
years in the Theological Institute of Nimes, France (founded
by her husband), and then at Calvary Chapel Bible College
for two years. She has taught women in many countries including:
France, Italy, England, Switzerland, India, Holland, Romania,
Hungary, Ghana, Togo, Gabon, Central Africa, Canada, USA.
Janey and her family were missionaries
in France for 22 years, where they planted churches, a theological
seminary and Christian day school. Since 2004, they're based
stateside, and often travel to teach, train and minister
to national leaders in various countries. They help suffering
children in diverse ways and mentor people in church-planting,
evangelizing and children's ministry.
Janey's book, Heaven Help Me Raise These
Children!, is born from years of Bible study; a plethora
of experiences as a mom and mentor to many and a heart of
compassion.
