What the Reviewers are saying about Breast
Cancer Be-Attitudes...
"Sylvia
Baker wrote one of the best books on the subject of breast
cancer. It takes away the fear from surgery for those women
who need to go through the process and this book offers
lots of hope for the recover process. Baker herself is a
breast cancer survivor and has gone through the whole ordeal.
She wrote the book from the heart with the purpose of edifying
and encouraging the reader, while being objective regarding
the issue... Highly recommended for everyone who was just
been diagnosed with breast cancer or who is already in the
recovery stage, and it's also a great and encouraging read
for loved ones of breast cancer victims..."

"In
Breast Cancer Be-Attitudes, Sylvia Morgan Baker has
captured the essence of being a friend in the time of trouble.
The diagnosis of cancer frequently turns a person's world
upside down and provides many new perspectives. It is a
time that can be characterized by loneliness and desperation.
This book provides a very sympathetic view for individuals
who find themselves in this unfortunate situation. It can
actually make you laugh and gives you very different perspectives
as you begin to understand that there is a great deal more
to living than just dealing with the problem of cancer in
your own life. I hope that many individuals will keep this
as their pocket companion as they move on to maximize the
potential that God has placed in their lives."

"Impressive
doctors' sections including the renowned Chris Wright, PhD
of Cambridge University discussing his research on Tamoxifen;
Doctors N. Joseph Haroun, fellowship in endocrinology from
Hopkins and Melita Braganza, researcher at University of
Maryland discussing chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
For me, these are the highlights of the book. For my wife,
they were the poetry, illustrations, and the myriad of helpful
suggestions and insights into things people don't usually
discuss."
Paul Holland, California
"I
am undergoing surgery tomorrow and am so grateful that I
had the chance to read this book first. I know that I can
do this! With all the doctors writing, the therapists, and
the author herself, I am thankful for the inspiration to
keep up the fight! Great Book."
Joan Klipinger, New Hampshire
"I
have found Sylvia Baker's book, Breast Cancer Be-Attitudes,
a must read for all women who have recently been diagnosed
with breast cancer or anyone who knows someone with breast
cancer. Sylvia thoroughly explains (in detail) what to expect
as one goes through the treatment process of this dreaded
disease. Along with the serious ramifications there is also
much humor to lighten the load. As you progress from chapter
to chapter, Sylvia shows you how to handle the fear with
her trust in God to lift your spirits and to take the load
off your shoulders. With a "can do" positive attitude
and the support of family and friends, she shows you that
there is light at the end of the tunnel. This book is on
my 'MUST READ' list!"
