A Training Program for Care Group Leaders!

What is it and what does
it do?
The Shepherding Care Groups taining
program teaches laypersons in the congregation to lead care
groups, which are supportive small groups for people suffering
from a common issue such as depression, anxiety, anger, grief,
guilt and shame, etc.

a person assess his or her caregiving gifts for serving in
care ministry...

determining the need in the congregation and larger community
for a group on a particular topic...

scheduling a time and place for the group...

selecting an appropriate curriculum for the group to work

The program also presents the C-A-R-E
model of helping, which breaks the people-helping
